It was an outstanding show, a spectacle worthy of Cher, the stripped bare world of men on the door. Directed by the multi-talented Claudio Aronica, John Godber's classic stage play is a look at life from the perspective of four bouncers employed at an English nightclub.

Luke James, Crispin Barker, Derek Sheetz and Claudio Aronica danced, threatened, huffed and  grunted, as the men in the monkey suits. At other times they were the club customers on the ran-dan, fresh from the hair salon, knickers ready to drop. Great work from all the cast and crew. Bouncers remains one of the Castle highlights of recent years.
